ABOUT
Michelle Lee Flores
Founder and Principal
Michelle Lee Flores is an employment litigator with deep experience handling jury and bench trials, arbitration, mediation and pre-litigation negotiations involving sex, race, religion, age and disability harassment and discrimination, and wage and hour violations, including class actions, and wrongful termination.
As a mediator, Michelle brings 30 years of employment litigation and counseling experience to the settlement table, both as counsel for plaintiffs/employees and as big law defense counsel, as well as a juror in a 3-week employment trial. Her extensive trial experience makes Michelle a rare breed amongst her contemporaries and she brings this unique perspective of understanding to the wide range of dynamics at play in mediations, which often involve not only the parties and their counsel, but insurance coverage and adjustors. Michelle successfully completed The Employment Law Mediator Training program at Cornell University’s New York State School of Industrial and Labor Relations (2019).
Michelle also advises clients on employment compliance, internal investigations, discipline, terminations, reductions in force and wage and hour matters. She prepares workplace policies and procedures manuals, drug testing policies, employment contracts and separation agreements, and harassment and discrimination prevention policies, including preventive counseling and in-house training.
